Areas of law
Jeroen Schouten has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the NOvA register of legal areas:
– ICT law;
– Privacy law;
– Intellectual Property Law;
– Telecommunications law.
On the basis of this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points in each registered main area of law every calendar year in accordance with the standards of the NOvA.
Rates and working method
We use a standard hourly rate. If the case and the activities lend themselves thereto, customisation of the tariff structure can be discussed. For example, a fixed fee can be agreed for work to be defined.
No cure no pay’ agreements are not permitted for lawyers in the Netherlands. However, we can carry out work at a reduced hourly rate in exchange for a proportionate bonus if a positive result is achieved which is to be determined in advance (success fee).
We do not charge any office fees.
When entering into a client relationship, the agreements on services and the agreed terms and conditions are laid down in writing.
We do not have a Stichting Derdengelden (third-party funds foundation) and can therefore not accept any third-party funds.
General Terms and Conditions
